playoffs for 23 consecutive years
(beginning November 8, 1980 vs Bremerton in a winner-to-state matchup,
and ending November 8, 2003 vs Mountain View in a state qualifier
game)-- a Washington State record for all WIAA classifications--
(including 14 quarterfinal, 8 semifinal, and 4 title game appearances)--
peaking with Coach Ed Fisher and a robust pack of Wolves (13-0) claiming
the state championship in 1994 vs the Walla
Walla Blue Devils in the very last "Kingbowl" title game to be played
in Seattle's Kingdome. Congratulations, Wolves, for a very rare accomplishment
that will stand for a long, long time!
